Mission Statement

Little Flowers Foundation is a nonprofit Catholic apostolate under the patronage of St. Therese, the Little Flower. The mission of Little Flowers Foundation is to connect loving, wholesome parents and families with orphaned, unwanted, sometimes handicapped, and sometimes foreign children and babies.

Our approach to this mission is two-fold. First the foundation raises funds in order to provide financial assistance to adoptive families. Second, LFF works to find couples that are willing to adopt, particularly couples who would adopt hard-to-place children or babies.

We aim to facilitate adoptions in which the children will be cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Physically
Because many of these orphan children are physically and/or mentally handicapped or have other medical problems, providing for their physical needs may involve substantial medical treatment. In less developed nations, medical treatment for even the simplest medical conditions is either difficult or impossible to receive. We believe that American parents can be the link to a healthier childhood as the resources available to us in the U.S. (both financially and medically) are far beyond what is available to many of these children.

Emotionally
We are of the firm belief that it is essential to the proper emotional development of children to be in a home with a mother and father who are married, faithful and committed to each other. A safe, secure and loving home life becomes even more crucial to the emotional development and well being of children who have experienced any sort of trauma or distress, which, sadly, we know to be the case with many orphan children.

Spiritually
As practicing Catholics, we believe that the Catholic Church contains the fullness of the truth which God has revealed to man for his salvation. Therefore it is our priority to support the placement of orphan children in Catholic homes where the fullness of life and love is available to them.
